Monitoring and Evaluation

Know what your CSR spend actually achieved.

Getting Started

Spend is easy to report. Impact is not.

Most CSR reports can tell you how much was spent. Fewer can tell you what actually changed as a result. We build the monitoring framework and collect the data needed to answer that harder question — for your own decision-making, and for anyone else who asks.

The result feeds directly into better decisions next cycle, not just a compliance document that gets filed and forgotten.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is impact assessment mandatory for our CSR spend?

It's mandated above a prescribed CSR spend threshold and project size under the Companies Act rules — we'll confirm whether it applies to your specific projects.

What's the difference between monitoring and evaluation?

Monitoring tracks progress continuously through the project. Evaluation assesses results at a point in time, usually at completion — we build both into the framework.

Can you evaluate a project we didn't implement ourselves?

Yes — we can design and conduct evaluation independently of who executed the underlying project.

How is this different from the utilisation certificate our partner provides?

A utilisation certificate confirms funds were spent as intended. Monitoring and evaluation goes further, assessing whether the spending actually achieved its intended outcome.

Do you conduct beneficiary surveys?

Yes, where relevant to the indicators defined in the monitoring framework.
